   I was delivering pizza in Albany, NY, spring 1995. One day I had a delivery, the guy opens the door, he’s about 70 or so, white hair, elegant, pleasant enough. I’m 24 years old at the time. He looked at me and said, “Who was your favorite VJ on MTV in the 80s?” I took about half a second and said, sincerely, “Martha Quinn.”

   “She’s my daughter,” he said.
